Functionning with the support of professionnal organisations, the “CTIs” constitute a major system of technological transfer and innovation for the French economy.

This system relies on a unique capital of abilities, with more 3 200 collaborators highly qualified, engineers, scientists and technicians experts in industrial research and technological transfers, as well as more than forty years of experience.

By providing companies with testing and evaluation infrastructures, scientific and technological abilities,information and consultancy, the services proposed by the CTIs contribute to the competitivity of the industrial sector, to the reinforcement of employment, and to the appeal of the “French Site”.

The CTIs are a link between industry and research.
Through their statutory missions, they have guaranteed access to their services to all industrial :

- technological development,
- adaptation to markets globalisation
- the satisfaction of the clients’ desires,
- the respect of standards and regulations,
- the setting in prospect of problems in society.
